Some gays advertise their gay-ness, but there ARE some straight people that do that too. Chauvenists, feminists, people being straight, kissing and groping all over the place. I don't want to see any of it. Gay or straight. Except maybe on tv and DEFINATELY in private, haha. That is acceptable. But people like to feel special, so they advertise themselves, period. Attention whores.

Not all do. I have know a few that appear and carry themselves like a typical heterosexual person - with no way to tell they are gay until after talking to them for some time. Not all have a need to advertise apparently.

Not all are so showy about it. I have friends that are gay but you wouldnt know it if you talked to them. You would have to know them for a while. Many people show there gayness to the world simply because that is what they see there culture do. Gayness is it's own culture. Many do it for pride and some even do it just to piss others off. No two gays are the same.

I guess you're wrong.. it is not these gay people would like to advertise their being gay.. they do or show stuff to get the acceptance of other people.
