Do you shower more than twice a day? If so, WHY?

No. Unless I were to take on a really dirty job, that much showering seems unnecessary.

If you're worried about wasting water, lower-volume showerheads are a nice alternative. I have one, and I barely notice the difference.

I assume from from someone who abhors personal hygiene ? Hey I base it on ur implied assumption.

Beyond that, it ain't the water amount per se, miniscule if compared to a bathtub.

It's THE ENERGY consumed to heat the water.

Coming to me habits, I shower TWICE once upon awakening and again beofre going back to bed.

Here's the catch: I use COLD water every single time. Benefits are -among others:

Lower util bills.

Volatile chemicals in water supply don't evaporate in heat causing a host of derivative longterm health problems.

Human body is debilitated by hot showers, but on the contrary strengthened and energized by cold ones. There's suffcient proof for this.

But I must admit it takes several weeks to get in the practice.

Are you willing to consider what I am stating without a jaundiced eye.

I do. My mother used to make us take a bath and change clothes in the afternoon when we would play outside. Then we would have to take a bath before going to bed at night.

I still shower in the morning, because I don't feel comfortable in clean clothes unless my body is clean. And I can't sleep at night unless I have another shower.

I like being clean. I've never given much thought to the amount of water I might be wasting.

No. - that would waste water. back in the old days persons took baths in Large Tin Tubs! - I don't know how often, tho? best wishes; I agree with you; we need to conserve water. I'm afraid We may be paying even higher prices for Water in Future, due to droughts, etc.
I'm afraid we will have to purchase water by the gallongs -to use to take a bath and to cook with! I worry bout All types of stuff; but it sort of feels like God is telling me All this stuff that I do worry bout!

I do it to whack of in a warm shower.

And, by the way, I don't have any KIDS so I'm personally saving MILLIONS OF GALLONS OF WATER buy not over populating the earth. I have also saved millions of gallons of gas, asphalt, prevented the sale of 10 sets of tires over a lifetime, reduced air and water polution more than anyone with children could EVER do, and have contributed to a reduction of the depletion of natural resources.

The showers and baths people are hypnotized by the advertisers to be "clean" and spend their money to buy their shampoos and soaps and stuff.
A major waste of water is sprinkling the lawn.

Only in extreme circumstances like I have a cold or someone polutes my lungs with cigarette smoke, I have a back ache or a skin condition. While you are at it can you get it illegal in the usa to smoke in public to save my lungs? I will not have to take a shower to clean out my hair and soothe my asthma after going out or better yet I will be able to actually go out. I do not because of smoke. My civil rights are violated by smokers.

I do. I work as a nurse and after my shift, when I get home, I just have to take a shower. So I take a shower in the morning before going to work, and another shower when I get back home!

welll i know that i shower once a day but if i go swimmin then yes twice a day and that is because i have a lot of those chemicals that r in the pool and stuff and it feels weird so i must wash it out and of course if i get dirty yeah know then i will take another shower!!
