Queen was and is a Band that rivals the Rolling Stones for sheer musical genius and Freddie Mercury was a Stellar talent if ever there was one "but" why didn't he ever attempt to have that HORRENDOUS overbite corrected. Some say he feared the timbre of his voice might have been affected..is there any truth to this? Not that it matters all that much now....

same as you...i have heard that he feared it would alter his voice...i also heard that he wore a mustache for much of his life to help cover it up.

I heard the thing about his voice too.
Freddie was Queen. Have you seen them lately? They re absolutely nothing without him! I read somewhere that he was trained in opera, but took to rock as a rebellion.
He was a true musical genius!!!!!

Yes, Freddie, like most singers, didn't gamble on his future by trusting God, Fate, or anyone with a scalpel. If he lost his voice, he would lose his life...oh wait, he did that anyway. R.I.P.
