I was bummed when 7th Heaven was ending, but just found out it is coming back for 13 episodes! I have always been a fan. 7th Heaven, The OC, and Big Love I try not to miss!

Great news. 7th Heaven ran from 1996-2006 on The WB, and will be one of the charter shows of The CW. The show's original series finale aired on May 8th, 2006, but in a very rare occurrence the program was renewed by the new CW Television Network due to the finale's high ratings. The 11th season will premiere on September 25, 2006.
The CW Network will feature a mixture of programming from both UPN and The WB television networks, which will both cease independent operations. The network, which will target younger viewers, is a joint venture between CBS Corporation, owner of UPN, and Warner Bros. Entertainment, a subsidiary of Time Warner, majority owner of The WB. CBS and Warner own 50% of the new network.
Hopefully, it will get great audiences on its new home and stay on air.

Yeah, it's coming back. The Series finale was supposed to be the last, but since the ratings for the show were still high, the CW decided to renew the contracts for some of the actors. I don't know if the entire cast will be back for another season.

7Th Heaven had such high ratings for it's " last " show that the people at CW decided to bring it back to kick off the launch of the new network. Guess they thought that would get folks to watch. I will be watching Veronica Mars instead.
