This pain usually occurs at night. Sometimes it's very intense. And it only seems to be on the front of both legs. Maybe it's nerve pain, although I don't know why.

It sounds to me like it's nerve pain...I had something similar in both feet...I can only describe the feeling as a freezer burn..I couldn't tell whether my feet were hot or cold without actually touching them...it was very uncomfortable . Because I was taking medication that absolutely neutralized the acids in my stomach and intestines..my doctors gave me a shot of vitamin B12..saying 'well let's try this..it won't hurt you'..!!! Hurt me---it was like a miracle drug..the first evening the pain started to go away and by morning it was like it never had existed..I realize everyone is different...but if this helps your pain..then you're very welcome because I remember what it was like.

You might think of taking vitamins like Calcium and D together. Also lower your salt if you use too much and drink more water.I've had some similar pains and wearing high socks or tight clothing can trigger it. You might think about checking for A.L.S.
