Because no one in Hollywood has any real, original ideas anymore.
They just try to cash in on shows that were a hit years ago......and usually do a very very bad job of it.
For example....Mod Squad, Bewitched, Lost in Space, The Beverly Hillbillies...to name a few.
Geez...I'm surprised they haven't remade Gilligan's Island, The Flying Nun, I Love Lucy or even Petticoat Junction!
(Wow...I'm really showing my age, aren't I? lol)

Because the group of people who make these decisions are idiots. They base movies on making money, and judge other films and or TV shows that were good (although some were not, like "Family Affair") on how much money they can make now. But these people do not go looking for or use new ideas (which there are alot of by the way) because to go with a new idea is a risk. They have no way to judge or say how much it can/will make due to no other movie like it. They do not (or rarely) take risks on films, or they might lose money. They lose money on crappy films anyway but at least those films follow the "formula" for film making.
So the answer is mostly money, people liked them then they will watch them again.

It is a very small group and it is very difficult to get your idea to them or done... so the new ideas will never be seen.

Because Hollywood has finally lost it's "originality" There's nothing new left to do. Any movie idea that the "creative Hollywood over-achievers" have come up with so far has either already been made or is being made by someone else. I think they've finally reached they're limits.

because they ran out of ideas, that's clear and they enjoy making movies after old tv shows (i suppose they think they will get more money from this and the movie will be a hit)
