Without more detail, it would be hard to know. However, here are a few good guesses.
1. She harbors resentment against you for something you have either done or failed to do.
2. Perhaps she's exhausted: if she's working and/or taking care of the kids and/or doing all/most of the housework, then nothing is wrong with her that you taking on some of the housechores and letting her have a break wouldn't fix.
3. Ask her. Consider the possibility that whatever she says might be true.
4. She is naturally cold and asexual. The early romantic period may have made you think she was quite different than how she is now that the thrill is gone.
5. There is something she isn't telling you because you haven't asked yet. Ask.

I can relate this happen to me way too recent ago, but In MY CASE she was cheating & yes she suffered from a mental Depression Disorder...I was there for her thru it all...but she hid an affair from me....It's hard to understand all what she felt when most of her feelings where fickle due to her dpression disorder....and by no means am I using the sickness as the crutch for the divorce, but she was distant with me for a month and a half before I found out thru her own writings I found. I am not saying that this is your case at all....but you will not find good new here...open your eyes....and GOD will reveal it to you. When he reveals it...you got two choices to make from there.

There could be many reasons. But usually if a woman shuts down emotionally...it is because she feels disrespected.Like, her emotions dont matter to you.You need to leave her alone about sex for awhile and just BE SWEET.ask about her day...buy her some flowers...cook her dinner..run her bath...and let her KNOW hee feelings and emotions matter. When she does begin to open up...Dont rush her!!! Pay attention. She will need to talk alot to be able to get over this...And if she starts telling you what caused her to be that way...{EVEN IF IT IS YOU} ....LISTEN!!! and dont get defensive. That will only make it worse...Oh yea...Women find SEX to be an emotional act...so Im not surprised she has no physical desires at this time....No emotion = NO SEX!!!!Be Patient......Good Luck!

Could be a few things, none of them good. Could be personal health issues.. could be something bad that shes hiding... like an affair or a rape.
It may not be that. It could be that a close friend or a relative has died, or it could be stress from work.
Someone from the past could have come back into her life and brought back old memories.
Something horrific has had to happen to her in order for her to completely turn off like that.
I'm sorry to be the cynic here...
I wish the best of luck to you =(

It's the nature of women to be this way, I don't know why.
Please, don't go and do something that can't be undone,
I beg you not to give up on her.
Mental illness (if this be the case) is very hard for a spouse to live with, the day to day toils are sometimes very burdensome.

Wow, toughie. Either she is mad at you for something, or...there is someone else. I am going to go with the first one because I wouldn't jump to conclusions right away. Try to be more loving to her...not sexual, but talking, compliments, doing stuff for her, hugs, ect...she's bound to open up eventually, either tell you to get lost or reciprocate.

It sounds as if she may have some serious issues from her childhood. Don't give up on her, let her know that you are there for her when she wants to talk etc.

Sounds serious, but you aren't really saying much. She could be depressed (clinically). Seek help if she continues this way.
