Does she live with him? Need more details, well from what little I know, you need to explain to her that all this time she spends getting treated like sh!t, she could be spending being happy. I was in a situation like that and it's funny how strong and blunt I was to everyone but him...til I found out I was pregnant. I left him pretty quick. She needs to realize she is losing months or possibly years of her life she will never get back. He obviously has control issues, which means he tells her massive sh!t to make her stay. It could be threats, or heartless things like "No one will ever love you like me"...or "No other man would give you the time of day"...what you really need to do is build her confidence and let her know she is more beautiful, and is to smart for this, and that HE does not deserve HER.

If that guy is a real jerk, you might get into trouble if you confront him about what he is doing to his gf. The girl should really try to find means to leave him but in a manner where there will be no risk for anybody Right now, you should just support her with your being around every time she needs someone to talk to about her life.

Perhaps what she can do is to have a heart to heart talk with him about how she feels with how he treats her and if she believes that her bf loves him very much though he is like that, I think if she uses some words which serve as threats that she will break off with him the moment he does not change his attitude towards her, it may make him think twice about what he is doing against her.

If the above suggestion is not at all possible, let someone close to that guy talk to him about his abuse on that cool gal and that person should try to make him realize his mistakes which can make him change.

If still that doesn't work, you and that girl may talk to someone who knows how to handle that situation fairly well like a legal expert on men's abuse on women. She should even get that person to talk to her bf and that is only if and when she really has no more love for that guy.

You should tell her to invite you over to hang out with him, and take a date and make it look like a double date, if he gets agressive stand up to him for being a jerk

Be there for her, suggest counseling
and unless you actually see him be abusive, I would not confront him. Help her realize that she deserves to be treated better and nds to dump him.

She needs to deal with it, you can help with that, but "confronting" him can only lead to you getting in trouble. She has to leave him, completely.

be there for her, tell her that she will sooner or later have to break up with him, help her, tell her not to be infront of his face when she does it, she cant be hurt then, if there living together tell her to get one of her friends to get her stuff.....she really needs to break up with him, dont confront him..but dont stay out of it..just because things can get alot worse.HELP HER THREW THIS!
