This is what I use on just about everything inside the house,
including some laundry items, it works great, and has Never
Damaged anything, plus it's basically aroma free.
Westley's Bleche-Wite, You Spray On, and Wipe Off. Do you
recognize the name? This is marketed as "Tire Cleaner". Can
be purchased just about anywhere, including Walmart.
Truly, I promise you will not be disappointed.

Make a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Put in a spray bottle and spray door. If the buildup is really bad you may have to repeat. Once it's clean spray door ech time you use the shower to prevent new buildup.

Assuming CLR and Limeaway failed, try muriatic acid. It is a whole lot stronger than the OTC's, so wear rubber gloves, eye protection, and a mask. Vent the room well.

Vinegar works very well. Try diluting some with water and increse the ratio of white vinegar if it doesn't work at first. you'll have to find the right concentration but it really works!
