I think that you will now be alot more careful about who you choose. You seem like a good person.Dont let anyone make you think you dont deserve to be treated well!Take a chance...just dont jump in to anything to quick.Take it SLOW.Find someone who DESERVES YOU.Unlike that EX!In my opinion..that was just a horrible thing to do to you.Take Care,Hun.And....GOD BLESS!

were your parents the same way?
I think I'm kinda like you. the gusy I liked the most were the same ones who hurt me the most. I think I'm addicted to the pain because it reminds me of the way my parents treated me growing up.

Go into therapy. spend a year or two learning who you are and how you have responded to the way your parents raised you. It has a bigger effect than you might think.
Also, listen to some old Loveline shows. Dr. Drew talks about this principle extensively: people are attracted to people that remind them of their parents, and hurt them the same way their parent do.
So the way you break the cycle of child abuse is to realize what you are doing and not date people who will be the same way your parents were.
Good luck & keep your head up, ok?

Hopefully you will see the signs early on and not have to go through it ever again. I least that is what I tell myself. My ex was abusive in every sense of the word. Good luck.

You must be a bimbo who does stupid things that annoys all men.

Any man with an IQ over 50 will "mentally abuse" you.

Go lesbo or get a really dumb man.

Well you have heard the broken record theory right? Now that you know what is happening you can fix it. Date for at least 2 years...believe me on this one.

hi ya. I was married to a verbal and emotional abuser.
Date and don't be scared. give a lot of thought about who you chose to marry and why that was wrong and why. It took me years after my divorice to figure out that I was attracted to insecure men who needed me to fix them. I have learned a great lesson and have moved on.

Hey we have one chance in this world......wheel chair or not....live your life the fullest that you can.
