Stay away from the big apartment complexes. The management companies that run them have access to credit bureau results. A landlord who owns only a few units may have you fill out a detailed application, but they usually don't have access to the credit bureaus. Most of them rely on their ability to judge the character of the person standing before them when renting an apartment.

As long as you have a job, you shouldn't have a problem finding a place to live.

possibly if its from someone who has just a couple of rooms to rent, established apartment buildings likely wont rent to you.
