hi, rahul dravid is prob the best batsman in the world at the moment along with prob ricky ponting. he has been a brilliant player for india. however, rahul has done quite well since he has been captain for about a year. india drew with pakistan and england and beat windies away. also they won the one day series with sri lanka and eng and pak. they only lost i odi series against windies. against eng india should have won the tests, and for some bizare reason he put eng in to bat in the 3rd test in mumbai, but i think it was down to greg chappel rather than rahul. against pak the pitches were too flat. so rahuls results have been positive so far, and with a bit more experience he will def get better. so future is bright.
