Bare Escentuals. It is great for your skin and works well.
With freckles, you dont want to try to cover them up because it usually doesn't work that well and can make it looks worse. You just want use cover up but not try to hide them.
Bare Escentuals, http://www.bareescentuals.com/ check it out. :)

foundation is not bad for the skin. it's only bad if you don't WASH IT OFF! if you have freckles and you want to cover them (which probably isn't the best choice cuz if you did it would take a good amount of makeup which can make you your makeup look too heavy). why don't you embrace the fact that you have freckles? but if you really want to cover them up, i suggest a full coverage foundation, something that will make you look 'dewy' and not 'matte', which tends to make you look really drabby. use some bronzer or blush to accentuate your cheekbones. apply a great mascara and tada!

Foundation is not bad for the skin. Mary Kay makes a non-comodegenic foundation that doesn't clog your pores. Most people think foundation is just to give your skin an even tone, but it's actually also to protect your skin from anything harmful you encounter during the day.

for lighter, natural coverage of the skin, you should try all-natural mineral makeups. this provides the benefit of a clean, polished glow without damaging chemicals such as parabens and alcohols.
there are many mineral makeup lines out there ... glo minerals, bare escentuals, etc...
but Jane Iredale is the top of the line brand that many dermatologists promote in their practices.

I love freckles!!! I have always wanted them. I'd get a few on my cheek and be all happy. Then they went away, and I missed them.

I suggest Bare Minerals. It is much better for your skin. Also, NEVER wear makeup without first putting on moisturizer!
