I think it's awesome although in one of comics it has shows it has some flaws against an enemy from the future.

Do not like at all. Marvel is constantly doing this to Spidey, but they should live it alone! Red, White and Blue suits him fine. Classic yet effective.

I actually hate it. It may have more abilities, but to tell the truth, it just seems so out of line with his character. I also hate the looks of it, from the 3 ridiculous "waldos" to the silly spats. Of course, the current batch of hacks at Marvel seem to be trying to screw up him & every other character they can right now, anyway. They've changed Spider-Man from a superhero to a sidekick for Iron Man, & had the one character who should have been the most opposed to unmasking do so to the public. I even think they have screwed up the Iron Man character by making him in favor of this move. The new costume, for all its additional abilities, is a perfect example of Marvel's writers screwing up yet again. I really almost expect Spider-Man to try to switch sides, & Iron Man to activate a fail-safe device in the suit to immobilize him for capture. I also expect that after Civil War, Spider-Man will have left this suit behind. You'd think he would've learned his lessons about suits too good to be true from the symbiote. Spider-Man may still be my favorite superhero, but I'm definitely against the suit & his current role in Civil War. Neither are true to the character.
If they did what they should, they need to get rid of the suit, & bring back the red & blue. Also, negate the effects of the events of Avengers:Disassembled & The Other, & bring back Spider-Man as Stan Lee envisioned him. Give him back the web-shooters, as these were always great for plot points & much better than the stupid wrist zits shooting pus webs from the movies. Also, get rid of the lethal arm spikes, as lethality is NOT Spidey's style. Spider-Man should go back to his roots, & Marvel's hacks need to quit screwing around with great characters like him.

I like it, but I'll be glad when he goes back to the old one.

Why I like it: it makes him look menacing for once. Now that he's in the Avengers and involved in Civil War, it's appropriate that he no longer be just your friendly neighborhood Spider-man. Also, I like what they're doing with the camo and the claws - they're certainly better and more useful than those ridiculous stabby things he's got in his wrists now. On a more superficial level, I like the spider emblem that covers the whole front of the suit, basically.

Why I don't like it: It's not the classic. It doesn't have the web pattern I'm so familiar with. It has an ugly pod on the back for the arms to retract into. It arbitrarily has three arms (three?). And for all Spider-man's geekiness, it just seems too teched-out for him.

Won't last. My bet is that by the end of Civil War Spider-Man comes around and switches sides. When that happens I bet Iron Man has the armor rigged and Spider-Man has to abandon it. There was a hint to this in the latest issue. Iron Man tells SM to use his "danger sense" which SM never told IM about. Have to figure that the suit is feeding data to IM about SM's powers.

WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS:

I like many of the features in the suit, if not the overall design. After 'Civil War', if Peter had any sense at all, he'd incorporate a lot of those features into a revamp of his original suit. I know the new suit can look like his old one, but I figure Stark won't let him keep it after he switches sides. This way, he could bring back the original while actually having suit that worked for him, instead of shredding during every fight.

Not at all...

He's Spiderman, not Iron Man nor Iron-Man's-cheap-knock-off. I like Iron Man and all, but the whole suit that's more expensive than America's armed forces thing just isn't Spiderman.

Granted Civil War's astrife and it makes Spiderman more mencing and all, it just isn't in line withi his character.

He never needed menacing nor dangerous to deal with his problems, and he sure doesn't need it now.

I mean get this, which is the stronger Spiderman?

The one who neede force and violence to deal with force and violence or the one who didn't have to resort to technology or force to resolve his issues in Civil War?

My 2cents

It's okay, but I hope he goes back to his original suit because he's not Iron-Spider...whatever. The metallic image doesn't work, but I like the colors and bigger spider- symbol. I don't like those spider-legs or whatever those are, I like Spider-man as a hero with limitations, I like him as a guy who may not have that great of an advantage in a fight, but can use his brain and the items he originally has to win.

I don't think he'll have it for long. Everybody loved the black costume he returned home with after Secret Wars, but we all know what happened to that one.

Unless if/when he does decide to rid himself of the red and gold costume, it turns sentient and...but wait, hasn't that already been done?

It's alright, but I don't expect it to last too long after Civil War.
