According to CNN Headline News. Author J.K. Rowling states that the final word of Book 7 of the Harry Potter book series will be "scar".

Ten points to the person who comes up with the best idea on the last paragraph of the book! (must have the "scar" as the last word). Since I choose the 10 point winner, I do grade on spelling and punctuation.

After the last tear was shed, the Gryffindor house departed from the ceremony. Hermoine and Ron kneeled before the lifeless body of their friend, and looked upon his peaceful face. They would always remember Harry's valiant attempt to defeat you-know-who. Alas, it had seemed that this time our hero was left with more than just a scar.

Harry Potter and The Last Twinge of the Scar...I'm not saying this is the most creative...but maybe one of the most logical in a way. I assume that in this book, it'll be the end of Voldemort...because well if he took over or it didn't say what happened...that'd be an awful way to end such a great series. And if Voldemort isn't around, then well it won't be able to hurt, because reasons due to Voldemorts existance are the only reason it twinges with pain.

Ron jumps into Harry's arms proclaiming victory to the defeat of Voldemort. Mr. Fudge grimaced and clapped Harry on the back. Every one was excited at the new begining of a world free of Voldemort and his Death Eaters..and to think it all started with a scar.

I think that the last paragraph will be about Harry defeating Professor Umbridge at her own game and then the pain, the searing pain in his scar.

Sorry it's short, but I'm not going to write the whole paragraph now. It's close to 1:30 in the AM...lol.

Harry looked at his reflection in the mirror. Now there was no longer a scar.

PS J.K. Rowling recently said that she just changed the ending.

Although they tried to act calm and dignified, no one could hide their hysteria, even in such morbid surroundings. He was dead, his final resting place about to be overtaken, his mourners running in fear from the terror to come, Harry Potter would be a beacon of hope no more, only a legend of the boy with the scar.
