Michael Jordan is the all-time best player that has ever played in the NBA! But now it's KOBE BRYANT of the Los Angeles Lakers followed by steve nash, dirk nowitzki and dwyane wade. Bryant made history when he made 81 point in one game on January 22, 2006. But he is still trailing behind Wilt Chamberlain who made 100 points.

Here we go again with this question. It has to be either Wade or Lebron. While Kobe has more individual talent than either of them, the bottom line is, which of them is the player who makes everyone else better. Kobe rarely does that. Wade and James do it every night. Anyone who says it is anyone other than those three has no idea what he/she is talking about.

it would depend on what impact could the player do to the sport...

during the 50's - 60's, there was chamberlain, russell, cousy, west.... cousy was an impact player with his dribbling skill, awesome; chamberlain, a scoring demon... but russell was the blue chip, impact player then... the 70's - 80's had lew alcindor (kareem abdul jabbar) as the marquee - impact player; the 80's - 90's produce bird and magic.... the impact player? magic johnson
90's was jordan time; 2000's up to now.... shaq has been the most dominating player but wade, kobe duncan, garnett had been making the moves...

if i go for desire it'll be wade...
skills, i'd say lebron and kobe, toss-up
talent, garnett and duncan and wade (again)...

and if anyone of today's generation of players can equal my choice of impact players during those decades.... then he'd be chosen as the best player today....

but all time.... it'll be MJ (Michael Jordan) considered as the greatest impact player of all time...

(btw, by impact, i meant what contributions can he offer, his all-around skills, his fan-towing capability, his determination/desire to win for the team, etc....)

kobe isnt as good as d wade or lebron james or dirk. he is a selfish selfish player who is very talented but a cancer more than anything. Kobe will not win anything without another player who can dominate next to him and keep his sissy butt in line. and he looks very weird too i cant beleive some girls think hes cute cause hes way not.

you can make the argument for a few people: kobe, lebron, wade, dirk, duncan

and to a lesser extent: garnett, nash, shaq 5 years ago, etc

but to whomever said tmac, u r a complete douchebag and shouldnt be allowed to watch basketball ever again
