Even if you are habituated to eating many times a day, you don't need to brush that many times. Check up whether u r running into compulsive obssessive disorder! Just brushing the teeth too many times do not guarantee great breath/dental health. The way you brush (correct method) is more important than the no. of times! Instead of spending so much time on brushing, you learn flossing & suffice it with just twice daily brushing! Too frequent brushing, using hard bristled brushes & forceful brushing can lead to severe enamel loss, & hence discolouration of teeth due to exposure of the underlying yellow dentine; also you may land up with hypersensitivity, bruised gums & gingival recession(gums recede exposing more of the roots of the teeth) & resultant periodontal disease & gaping between teeth.

My best friend/former roommate used to brush her teeth a whole lot. Brush and floss. I doubt 6 times a day though. But, who knows. As for me, I do it twice.

3 times a day is sufficient, you run the risk of receding gumlines and wearing the enamel with too much brushing, but make sure you floss also
