Your question made me sad. I think you should quit trying to be like everyone else who wants to quit trying to be like everyone else and JUST BE YOURSELF! You don't have to rebel to be a teenager. Nor do you have to have black hair and a tongue piercing. Not that there's anything wrong with it...but seriously. Don't do it. Your mom is right. Trust me. You do not know everything right now...and your going to look back and wish you hadn't. Spend your time trying to learn something and let your inner INTELLIGENT self shine through. That's what important. Not a tongue ring, black hair and lack of virginity AT AGE 15!!!

AAARRRGGHHH, just reading your note is painful. If I was your mom I would send you to a strict, all girl private school or a boarding school so you can learn to speak. What does hair and make up have to do with being happy about not being a virgin?
Instead of copying somebody's style why don't you use your imagination and come up with your own. You really need to work on yourself in terms of raising your level of intelligence and making something of your self instead of just being a big, lump of a dummy. Be somebody your mom can be proud of.

ok - you are only 15 - you are at an age where one wants to make a 'statement' in her life ... what you need to consider is ... the things you want to do now ... how will you feel about them 2, 3, 5, 10 yrs down the road? Yea, they make sound fun and 'in style' now but please consider your future. Ok, hair coloring and a tongue pierce are only temp but why would you want to put yourself through this now? Make a good image of your self NOW, while you are still young and you will go places. You do not need to make a statement ... statements are temporary - VERY temporary ... your parents know what is right even though you may disagree. Believe me, if you follow their advice, a year from now your will be thankful! Please think positive!

Dont dye your hair black,go for a 3 or 4 color weave,thats more age appropriate,also makeup is suposed to enhance your beauty, not take away from your natural beauty(less is more) listen to your mother.
