If your spouse were cheating would you want to know?

Sitting at home with nothing to do. Kids in bed, and husband working. I decided to click on yahoo personals, not particular reason. I began to browse through the personals and find a friend of mine husband with his profile. With another name and status as divorced..Would you tell your friend? I know that everyone wants to know about their cheating spouse..But what would you do in this exact situation? I really don't know what to do..We are all friends, too...

set up a new email, with out anyone knowing its yours. then send her the link, and she will soon know. then you dont have to be responsible for spilling the bad news to her. but yes, get her the info one way or another. she deserves to know about her louse of a husband!

First you need to be sure it's him, it could be some weirdo using his picture....it's been done before. Once you confirm that, come back on here and tell us who he is so that we can all bust him on it. A little rough justice and enough spiteful emails should make him think twice about doing that again. I also understand the conflict you have with your loyalty as a friend. It's a tough spot to be in, and there are probably going to be consequences if they find out it's you who did the ratting out. Maybe you don't have to. Talk to your husband about it and tell him what you found. More than likely he'll talk to this guy and find out what is going on. There could be 102 different possibilities that you aren't aware of. Maybe they are trying to spice up a sex life, maybe they aren't as happy as they want everyone to believe, maybe he really is considering divorce and got a jump on finding someone new....etc. I would just hate to see you involved in the middle of that....especially if you were wrong, and things aren't what they appear to be. Use your head honey and if that gets you nowhere, then use your heart. I know your first reaction would be to tell this woman, because if it were you, you'd want to know. I just don't believe our first reaction is always the best when we don't know the facts. It's your husband's buddy, give him the chance to check it out first.

Stay out of it or you will lose both friends!! People cheat and people lie and some do both but they have a bond and you spilling the beans will cause her to approach him and if she believes his story then they both are done with you I've had it happen to me. You can be sneaky and have your friend over and suggest going through the personals for something fun to do and accidently come across hubby's profile just act as shocked as she is!!

Thats a hard one when your all friends, I personally would love to knw that way I can chose what actions I want to take if any. I would tell her but it might not mean anything so many people have profile flirting and talking is one thing acting on anything is a totally different thing.

like I said before --- you were looking at personal ads online and you are married... have fun explaining that to your husband - your friend will tell him what you were doing.... let your friend handle her own marriage problems --- wives know when husbands cheat --- they may not admit it but they sense that sort of thing.... your man works to provide for his family, right? then its your job to provide a home for him to come back to every night, right. so just ask your self if you were him would you be looking forword to coming home every night the way things are? if the answer is yes your cool

i think you should tell your friend, they have the right to know and its not fair to them. Or you should talk tp the husband and tell him that you know and he should tell his wife.
