Sure you can get rich in any of those careers, but expect to work 50 to 80 hours a week. Any of those careers can be had in the government or military where you only work 40 hours and you'll still make a lot of money, but not nearly as much as in private industry. Particularly, if you catch on with a hot company at the right time. Private industry pays 2-3 times what the government does and after 30 years about 5 times as much.

It's much harder to get rich these days as a doctor because of what you have to pay for malpractice insurance. However, as an engineer or attorney it is rather easy (especially as an attorney specializing in tort law!).

once you're an American, regulation is possibly not the area for you - not till you're a shoe-in to a real-tier college. there is an excess of recent attorneys in the States, and many them graduate to discover that there is not any interest for them. In Canada, it is likewise getting puzzling to discover a activity in regulation. docs do not make that plenty money in Canada, the two. in fact, I doubt any of those jobs will make you "prosperous." they're going to provide you a comfortable residing, yet once you desire to be rolling in money, the two hit upon a prosperous better half to sponge off (a l. a. Federline), win the lottery, or artwork somewhat hard and get fortunate at particularly any occupation.

it's easy to get rich, the answer to your question though is not getting rich now..but retiring wealthy later.
those careers do carry lots of money (I work in one of the listed fields), but I dont use my money now to be rich (have a nice car, etc..) I use my money now to have wealth later..Invest in real estate, invest in stocks etc..
I still spend a good amount of money now, but I believe in investing more for later. Besides, investing is smarter then just throwing money in a savings acct. Investments are harder to cash out etc..the money is tied up..and in most cases if you are smart with your investments the value of your investment will increase.
