My apartment backs up to the 13th tee box of a golf course. There is the old man who lives several buildings down from me, he has now taken up residence downstairs outside my apartment window selling golf balls to the golfers from about 9am until 2pm. All day long I hear "golf balls, get your golf balls". The golf course knows that he is there doing this and it is a public course. My boyfriend and I were thinking about video taping him, we have a bad a$$ camera and zoom. He talks so much smack about these golfers if they say that don't want to buy any golf balls from him. In fact he responds under his breath "thats not what you wife said last night".
Anyway after a couple months it just isn't funny anymore and I want to do something clever about it. Any suggestions.

yeah call the police and file a complaint. He can't sell without a seller's permit. Also complain to your apartment, it's the manager's responsibility to stop people from using their apartment to sell things from in public in the open.
Or.. you could just print out a picture of 2 gay guys from a gay porn site and tape it on his door at night and write "we love the balls you gave to us last night" lol

Go sell golf balls for cheaper. Or conveniently dump a bucket of water out whichever widow that is closest everyday. Just tell him you keep having dreams that the house is on fire, you wake up and hear him yelling, so you try to put him out. Ooops.

taking a video of him and sending it to town council will do.. or perhaps you could invite one of the pretty bad a$$hole to play golf at the course and let him settle the scores with the old fool..

Loud music to drown out his advertising?
A strategically placed bag of smelly fish heads / prawns?
Tell him your neighbour said that she / he was calling the police?
Or perhaps you could kindly ask him to leave?

Did you talk to management at your
apt? Video tape him for a week and bring to your manager's attention

call the police, isnt he soliciting?...does your apartment allow solicitation? if not ..call the police. otherwise report him to your apartment manager
