Otherwise known as ‘pledge week’ on Public Television and Radio. Do they schedule it across the country at the same time everywhere? With the same programming? It you have more than one PBS station in your area do they both schedule Beg Week for the same week?

I know they need the contributions to stay on the air, but still it gets a little annoying.

I can do with PBS but I want my NPR.

Gee, Scubadiver, I didn't realize grand opera and Beethoven and Mozart and The Antiques Road Show were liberal propaganda.

Laura Bush listens to NPR herself.

Lee, I rarely watch PBS. When I'm not working I'm usually painting during my free time. But I listen to and love my NPR and give every time.

My fav: Live From The Met and Doug Murphy's 'The Opera Show.' And I like 'All Things Considered.'

Can you say "Federal Budget Cuts"?
I knew you could.
Starting with Ronald Reagan in 1981, PBS' endowments started getting slashed. However, no matter how much they try to hold expenses down, inflation has other ideas.
I give to PBS.
Do YOU?

Who listens to public radio to know? That crap was such a turn off to me years ago, when I did listen to it, I quit. Have never been back and don't plan to ever come back. Left wing propoganda at its finest.
