What was the worst fashion statement you made in the '80's that you are willing to admit to?
Mine was parachute pants. You'd NEVER have convinced me I didn't look hot!

Started the 80's with lime green hair - not a good look for a guy. It hung down below my shoulders - I was a hippie born in the wrong decade.
I got a flat top & painted it silver - even worse. Now I'm 43yo & have almost no hair.
Worst clothing moment - platform shoes, yellow Tshirt & pink nylon tie - I was a confused child. I was less of a punk & more anti-disco.

Well I feel this way, anything from the 80's era was a bad fashion statement.Especially acid wash jeans and tapered pant legs and stirup pants.

I had a pair of SUNSHINE YELLOW overalls.The carpenter style with the big pockets and hammer loop.You could see me comin a mile a way and I was smilin b/c I thought I was so hip.I wish I had a picture to remind me how stupid fashion can be.

BIG HAIR.....aquanet hairspray!
Leg warmers, in some really bright colors.
The whole Madonna look, with the ripped fishnets, lace and rosary beads.

it had to be the neon clothes and green or blue mascara with my overly teased permed hair up in a banana clip!

polyurethane leather looking pants.....parents hated them and made me take them back to the store....also big long blouses with a belt around them.

my permed hair. It got so dry from it! and probably all the blush and blue eyeshadow! i looked like a clown!~
