the phrase goes: "rules are meant to be broken". or "rules are made to be broken". either way, do you agree to it?

yes, it's an expression. and oftentimes, by freewill, some do follow these thought. however the risk of doing so is there, even if no harmful intent is present.

the least is to analyze it logically. do i have too? the pros and cons must be weigh before an action should be made...

rules are meant to be followed so that all the work in the world go smoothly without any problem. but now everybody thinks that rules are there to be broken & the result if quite clear. these accidents, terrorism, robberies , murders , adultration, bribing, to name a few. if all the people think that" the rules are meant to be followed ""the world will be safe from so many calamities. even the nature is showing her fury for not following the rules of the nature.

i don't think so, because if whoever made the rule meant it to be broken, they wouldn't have made it at all....it seems that every rule has someone who wants to break it or has broken it...
