I have attempted to grow salvia, but to no avail. It can be quite a finicky plant and not at all easy just to keep alive. It is not wise to smoke salvia often as frequent use dimishes the value of the messages received.

Salvia is a native Texas wildflower. I grow it. Salvia is also a type of sage...you big silly

I haven't heard of anyone growing it. Where would you get the seeds? If you want to try you better hurry because Uncle Bush and his buddies will soon use it to divert attention from other problems. It will be illegal soon.
