Why would you want to change who you are? You are who you are and who the hell cares what anybody else thinks? Why try and change just because homosexuality is so badly burned? I say **** those people. Don't be straight just because people in today's society want you to be, be who you are and live the life you want. Don't try to change who you are, and ignore people who try bringing you down. Best of luck.

No, I had sex with a girl several times a week for over a year

It never worked. No matter how many times I had sex with a woman, I still felt like it was wrong on a level I couldn't explain. It felt dirty and left me feeling used.

Never once in a year and a half did I have sexual contact with a male. Never once in that time did I cheat on my wife in any way, shape or form.

Never once did I stop yearning to love and be loved by another man.

I just celebrated my 16 year anniversary with a wonderful man.

No, you'll just end up hating yourself.
The reason that people are now so proud to be out, is that years ago it was customary to live a lie in a marriage that just didn't feel right...

You might want to consider being celibate instead. There's nothing wrong with not having sex with anybody, and you can sort it out and decide what you really want from life.

I agree with Rob's answer:

"Thats like asking if you kissed enough frogs would you turn into a frog. If you gay your gay. If your straight your straight. If your Bi your Bi. Bottom line. You dont turn gay on and off like a water faucet. "

Trust me I know!

When I was younger (i.e. in my teens / going through puberty) I often struggled with the same question. I even dated women throughout high school and a little in college. After I moved away and began to "explore" my inner thoughts / desires I began to learn more about myself. I "finally" came to the realization that being gay is who "I" am and there is nothing I can do about it! It's almost like pretending that your favorite color is red when in fact you know deep down inside that it might be blue. You can't change who you are! Embrace it / Cherish it, it's o.k. to be you! :) Best of Luck!

Nope, if you can have sex with a girl and you are gay, that's surprising there are many gays who can't even get hard if its a girl touching them. If you can have sex with both and enjoy both, you may be bisexual. There is nothing wrong with sex with any gender. And don't worry about labels, it doesn't matter what other people call you. It doesn't even matter what you call you self. Do as you will, but harm none.

If you want to have sex with a girl, then you are bi.
If you don't, then you are homosexual.

Its in your genes, no matter how much you try and change, if you try to force yourself to be something you are not, you are going against your very nature and that isn't good for your mental health in the long run.

if you have sex with a girl enough times, you may (notice i say may) get to where you can tolerate it or even enjoy it ... or if it totally turns you off, repeatedly doing it may turn you off to it completely

on the other hand, if you find boys/men hot and attractive, no amount of sex with girls will change that ... you'll find boys/men sexy til the day you die

No. I suspect this question is not based in reality, but to give the benefit of the doubt~ no you cant become hetero if you are homo. its not going to happen and youll end up hurting some girl who loves you. Just be who you are. Ignore the christian right who thinks youll burn in hell. they are full of crap. Just find love, and know that you are divine and whole.

No, if you have the desire to have sex with girls that much you probably weren't really gay in the first place. Consider the thought that you might be bisexual, or just confused.

Be truthful to yourself, all you're gonna do is ruin a girl's faith in love,if its real love then its ok, but if its just to proove to yourself that you;re not gay, than thats another thing, take care
