Or do the promoters tell the wrestlers what they want? I realize some guys have really obvious characters based on their ethnic background etc. and Dutch Momberg became Killer Karl Krupp precisely because he detested Nazis. However, does the typical young guy just starting out come up with something and then try to sell it, or does the promoter say, "we want heel who is tax autditor", etc.?
