1st, how old are you? This could explain your parents' reluctance. Regardless of age though, if the question is asked, parents ought to answer. It's really their job. That's how I look at it. If they still won't tell you, try addressing your concerns to a trusted relative, maybe a minister, teacher or guidance counselor. But it needs to be someone you can trust to keep it confidential. As a last resort, you might try a Google Search on the subject. In any case, regardless of what yours or your family's morals may dictate, it is absolutely essential to receive accurate information about sex. In this way, you can protect yourself or others against unwanted pregnancy or diseases.

Sex is many things. Perhaps what your parents don't want you to learn is that too many people think its everything and its not. What is more important than sex is developing your mind by concentrating on memorizing and making routines. Respect your parents enough not to explore what it might be. Sex is something to be shared with a married mate, not a best friend or your classmates,so count yourself as fortunate to have wise enough parents that they want you to have the best chances in the world for a successful life.

Sex is a romantic intercourse between a man and a woman. Think...Kissing, then kissing and touching for a long period of time. That's a start.
