Tumeric and Oil?

My girlfriend met an Indian man who told her she should take Tumeric and oil 3 times a day. She didn't ask him why...Can you tell us?

well i think your girlfriend has a problem you should tell her to jump from the closest window and dont tell her why come on i cant believe there are so "naive" in this world.
