Make sure AOL is uninstalled from your machine. This includes AOL coach and all the little bitty programs AOL installs that you don't know about. Best way: go to control panel and just uninstal anything AOL. Then just go in and set your outlook express and everything to your new internet provider.

You most likely still have AOL software installed on your PC. Make sure your default Browser and Email are the AT&T. Click on your Start Menu and then go to "Set Program Access and Defaults." MAke sure that you have the right programs selected.

I would also go to "control Panel" "add/remove programs" and completely remove anything aol from your pc. It will try to take over.

Good Luck
