I Think Ive cut my paper wrong, I have a six pointed star is that right?

Question

I cant seem to figure out the final combination, I think I followed the path of the compass and cut it all the way off, are you supposed to end up with a six pointed star?

You did do something wrong. It should be a five pointed star. Once you have it folded correctly there is a white line which begins at the compass. You cut on that line.

stars have five points, look at the flag. If you're doing one from a compass, I believe it is eight points....four big ones and one smaller on between each.
