why do ur mom want to give it away? my mom always want to give one of my rabbit away(coz its black duh) but i said i would take care of it myself,n sometimes i would ask my mom to pet it or juz to touch it or sth, now she even likes it more than i do. but if ur mom insist givin it away, u can keep it in ur frds place (this black rabbit is my frds lol)

You need to tell us what the specific reason is your mom told you to give it away. Is it because you are not holding up your end of the bargain with caring for it? Is someone allergic?
Regardless of why...if you live in your parents house, you need to live by their rules. You might not want to hear that but it's the truth. If you cannot keep it, find someone (perhaps a friend) who is willing to care for it so that you can still see "your" pet.

talk to your mom ask her to reconsider if you have not been taking care of your pet ask her for another chance if she insist it has to go ask friends or go to the pet shelter and they will try to find a home call a vet there a good source at trying to find a home good luck to you and your pet

first thing why is does your mom wnat you to give it away?? did you not take responsibility of it and she always had to feed and clean up after it or did you just bring it home with out asking?? need more details -k-
