All of my fave quotes pretty much come from Johnny Depp movies. I'd be listing tons of quotes all night, but for now:

"You got it Allison. You got it RAW!"- Cry-baby from "Cry-Baby"
"What do you think it means, you ignorant hick? I'm in the middle of a divorce. D-I-V-O-R-C-E DEEE-VORCE!"- Mort from "Secret Window"
"There are only four questions of value in life, Don Octavio. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: only love."- Don Juan DeMarco from "Don Juan DeMarco"
"Why don't you like raisins? " - Sam from "Benny & Joon"
"Just a dog? Porthos dreams of being a bear, and you want to shatter those dreams by saying he's just a dog? What a horrible candle-snuffing word. That's like saying, "He can't climb that mountain, he's just a man", or "That's not a diamond, it's just a rock." Just."- J.M. Barrie from Finding Neverland

And I love everything that Captain jack says in both Pirates of the Caribbean movies, but if I listed all those quotes it'd take forever!
have a wonderful day!

Recently I watched a movie called "Serenity" and in it there was a scene that went like this:

Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: This landing is gonna get pretty interesting.

Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: Define "interesting".

Hoban 'Wash' Washburn: [deadpan] Oh God, oh God, we're all going to die?

Times are getting interesting. The other day I was talking about how interesting times can distract us from God. Today I am going to talk about how interesting times can sometimes make us doubt God.

When trouble was all around David and he was hiding in the caves afraid of Saul who was trying to kill him he cried out to the Lord. At times he felt all alone, he wrote about it, many of his Psalms include a cry to God to "arise" or to "awaken". It seems to me that David felt that God had fallen asleep, or that God was no longer paying attention to him. If David could feel that way and even write about it when he had at times actually seen God's Glory then it stands to reason there will be times when we will feel that way. When the whole world seems to be against us, that next problem hits us and we are still in the middle of the last "interesting time" we may feel like crying "WAKE UP AND DO SOMETHING HERE LORD!" like David. It is ok to feel that way and ok to cry out like that but you must remember that God has never fallen asleep he is just doing things in his own time. Many times I have asked God to do what I wanted in My time and later I was so very glad he didn't. Instead he did it in HIS time, a time that was more beneficial to me and to my family.

When you feel lost and alone, like God has left you to die, just remember that David left those caves and became King of all Israel. You too are a Prince destined to be a King, Co-heir with Jesus. You too will be able to survive your interesting times.
