There are two software programs that you need to download. One is "DVD Shrink" and the other is "Videora iPod Converter." Both are free downloads. I'm not sure of the exact websites but you should be able to do a search for them. Use Shrink to rip the dvds and Videora to convert the file to an mpeg. It takes a while, but it's definitely worth it. Both of them are very easy to use. Happy movie watching!

itunes should have an option to convert movies into ipod format, but u need a peogram to first rip the dvd to a mpeg file or somethign.

dvd is a really big space for ipod, you have to used a software to shrink it to a smaller space, then you save it to a file. By using DVD SHRINK sofware. That 's what I did
