I know lots of 16 year olds who are around five feet - in fact most of my friends are. I'm only 5'3"

no Im 20 and im only 5'2, it just depends on your parents. You will most likely grow another 2 inces or so by the time u turn 18.

YES, BUT SO IS BEING 5 FOOT TALL FOR A 30 YEAR OLD FEMALE, SO BE THANKFUL FOR THAT EXTRA INCH YOU GOT ON ME--LOL! BEING SHORT IS GOOD ALL THE GUYS ARE TALLER THAT WAY.

yeah, 5"1 is short for anyone in there mid teens, you just got short genes thats all. I think shorties are cute tho.

not necessarily...depends on your genetic background...my mother was 4'11" and father was 5'11" (interesting couple, huh?)...anyway, I'm about 5'7' (in the middle), and my sister is about 5'3" I think (and we're both in our 40s)...I wouldn't worry just yet...you (assuming you're the 16-year-old) have at least two more years (you do continue growing/maturing, even if not height-wise) till 18, perhaps later

actually there really isnt a normal height for any age. it all depends on genes. if you mean is it an average height. sumwhat not but its a nice height to be.
