can anybody recommend a vacuum cleaner with a lift off handheld vacuum?

We bought a 12 amp Bissel bagless canister vacuum sweeper at WalMart a couple of years ago for about $60.00. The canister is detachable making the unit very portable. All of the attachments are included. We like the unit and have put it to hard use.
