How do we protect our CDs,DVDs,vinyl,video and cassette tapes in a "rising damp" situation? Mildew etc

Space is a priority at the moment.They are mostly still boxed,but some still keep escaping.Thanks.

Best solution is to move them to a different location. Nest option might be to buy a dehumidifier and run it on a regular basis. Do not store the items on the floor as the damp will wick from the floor to your items and the boxes.

Put your items on shelves and allow for air circulation around them and you should be OK. If you live in a basement unit and the dampness problem persists, move as soon as possible.
