U cant delete default folders like inbox, sent, bulk, draft, trash. But u can certainly delete the folders created by u. To do this, click on edit button near the inbox folder. U will see a list of folders. Now again click on the edit button in front of the folder u want to delete. Now delete all the messages in that folder and empty it fully. Now come back on the previous page and click delete the folder u hv emptied. Only emptied folder can be deleted. Take care of this thing.

In the folders section look for the word "edit". Click on this and you should see the list of folders that you have created. You will see the name of the folder, the number of messages(if any) that you have and the amount of space the messages are using. You will only be able to delete folders that are empty. If you want to delete the folders after they are empty just click on the word "delete" after you have emptied the folder. I believe that it will ask you if you want to delete the folder. If you do just click "yes". The folder will be deleted. I may have left something out but just start looking at the direction that i gave and you should have no trouble deleting your folders.

When you are in Yahoo mail, click the down arrow next to the Mail button (the first on the left). You will see an option for "folders."
The list of folders displays. You cannot remove folders provided by Yahoo, only those you created. You will see "delete" to the right of the name of any folder you created. Click on Delete to remove it.

Hi
it is simple when you go in yahoo mail
there are option on left side up as mail address etc, and in every optiions there is a down showing cursor so go click on the cursor in mail and go in folders and then yuou can delete the foilders only which you had created it
the other simple way is when yopu are in mail just press ctrl+shift+f and you will be taken on folders page just delete the folder what you have created

Hi There,
just move your cursor to the Folder,
which u wish to Delete,then
right click on the Folder,u find "delete" Option -click on delete..
Yup!!
Now ur folder is deleted ..
