If I'm going to ask you why, what's the best answer to a very deep question with a shallow thought?

because

actually, someone at my moms college got that exact question on a philosophy final, and answered 'why not', walked out the door, and aced it.

but 'why' anything? because... something. cause and effect, willpower, luck, chance, fate, divine intervention, the devil made me do it. can pick anything you want to answer a simple 'why'
