my neice is staying at my apt. while her parents go on a business trip for a week. She ate almost nothing the first three days she was here, and today she cooked chicken, rice and desert ate a lot of everything. Now she has horrible diarrhea.. she thinks it is from handling raw chicken. I think it is from her not eating for three days and then eating too much. Are they both possibilities?

Take her to a doctor. You don't know what it is. Keep her hydrated.

They could both be possibilities. Did you eat the chicken? If yes, did you get sick? Also, with handling raw chicken, she could get salmonilla, too. Not eating for 3 days, then eating a lot will indefinately mess up your stomach, since it's screwed with her metabolism. a balanced source of food throughout the day is needed, 'specially if she's young.

Um it could be the raw chicken....but definetly not cuz she wasnt eating.....give her some like laxitives or something, depending on how old she is. It could also be all the food she ate, maybe all the food didnt mix well in her stomach. I hope she gets better soon, good luck

could be a stomach virus, could be raw chicken, could be poor diet for the last few days, could just be her time for her body to do a natural clean out. if it persists or gets to extreme i would see a dr. make her drink fluids though. you can dehydrate very easily

They are indeed both possible.
It could also be from the rice, or the dessert she made.
She could have a food allergy, or be senstive to the water that she made the food with..

That's not gross it happens. BUT I REALLY THINK IT'S FROM HER NOT EATING AND THEN OVERINDULGING. THAT WILL USUALLY MESS YOUR STOMACH UP...IF SHE WAS SICK FROM FOOD POISONING BELIEVE ME SHE WOULD FEEL MUCH WORST THAN JUST DIARRHEA. JUST MAKE SURE SHE DRINKS PLENTY OF WATER AND SHE'LL FEEL BETTER TOMORROW.
