Totally! Every woman is different when it comes to how their periods feel. I started getting back cramps similar to labor instead of cramps (for my period) the more babys i had. I have back labor pains now if I blink wrong so it could be a number of things. nobody ever warns you about this stuff. if your in your first trimester and feeling back cramps you should check with your doctor. also every 7 years a womans cycle changes. I just recently entered a new 7 yr cycle and its totally different than what I'm used to. If your worried about it ease your mind and take a pregnancy test. If your even remotely pregnant it will give you at least a partial plus sign. God bless I hope this helps. Denise

Just to add to the list - me too! I loathe that lower back thing and the cramps that could kill a horse. Ugh. Motrin, a heating pad and a good nap are the best medicine!

It is completely normal to have back pains with your period. If you were pregnant and having these symptoms then you would be in labor!
