I lived in a town in Utah for 6 years, during junior high and high school. That was the longest I've lived anywhere. In the last two years alone, I've lived in four different places and two states. I envy (though I know I shouldn't) those who have the same house they grew up in with the same neighborhood, etc. I've been best friends with my two best friends since first grade and seventh grade respectively (we all still talk four or five times a week, though we're all spread out across the country now) so that has been my consistent thing in life (besides change, of course).

hmm....if you mean in a city, id say 3 1/2 years. If you mean in a house, about 1 1/2 years. My parents were divorced and I went back and forth all the time. Hint: 10 miles northeast from the exact middle of the United States!

Same house with parents for about 20 years(except for half a year when I was in grade 5 at a rental due to house fire) then moved with parents to different house same town. Lived away for 8 years now back in hometown... not sure if you meant house or town.

I'm a native of Phoenix, AZ...lived in the house my parents bought before I was born until I was 19...I now live a whole 7 miles from that house! I'll never move! I love my state!
