Truth be told, I have two little boys ages three and almost one. I love coffee and drank it every day I was pregnant and during the older ones pregnancy in the summer months the Frappacino was my downfall. But both of my boys are super healthy and happy as can be. And as long as your not having two cups a day everyday relax and enjoy it on the days you are. Just remember it's your body and your baby and you will feel whats right for you two and it may not be what someone preaches to you from a pregnancy book. This is still your life so live it, just slow it down a little - that's my motto. And congrats on the baby. Have fun, it's a wild ride, but totally worth the price to get in.

That's technically only 2-4 cups a week, which is perfectly fine. However, those days you are more likely to dehydrate yourself. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water to make up for the dehydrating of the coffee.

I drink caffeine....I drink a cup or two of coffee a day. Good luck
How much caffeine is too much?
The less caffeine you consume, the better. Some experts say more than 150 mg of caffeine a day is too much, while others say more than 300 mg a day is too much. Avoiding caffeine as much as possible is your safest course of action. If you must get your fix, it is best to discuss this with your health care provider to make the healthiest choice for you and your baby.

No.. slightly caffeine an afternoon won't injury the toddler, incredibly once you're retaining hydrated with loads of water. I definitely have a minimum of a can of Coke or some thing an afternoon.. from time to time a cup of coffee in the mornings. toddler would be effective.

I love how the one GUY said "no no no!" Like he has any idea what it's like to be pregnant.
Talk to your OB, but mine said it would be fine for me to have up to two cups of coffee each day. I cut WAY back and only indulged a few times but that was on me. Congrats to you!

If you only do it once a week, I don't see a problem. One cup a day is better, try decaf or half-caf coffee mix or mix with lots of milk.

You certainly can. :-) There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with drinking coffee while you are pregnant (under six cups daily anyhoo). Same goes for breastfeeding, except that it may make the baby cranky/irritable after he/she gets the caffiene from your milk.

Go for it. It won't hurt. When I was pregnant, I'd drink two to three pots of strong, black tea a day. Doc said it is ok. And even if I cut it back to one to two, that was fine, too.
