Let me tell you about the popular kids in my school..
One got pregnant in 6th grade.. at the age of 11. Another got her pregnant.
A few got pregnant in 9th grade.. one didn't even remember how she got pregnant, because she had so much fun drinking at a party.
One got pulled over while skipping school.. he was drunk.
One got arrested during school - something to do with drugs
One got suspended for bringing alcohol to school
One got in trouble because they were training police dogs in our school and the dogs all stopped at a locker that wasn't one the police put drugs in..
A few of the guys had to drop out of school to take care of their babies while the babies moms finished school
I guess I don't see the point in being popular. All of us unpopular kids got good grades, got accepted to good colleges.. And this makes me hope my kids are as unpopular as me and my friends were.

There are many popular people in school, you shouldn't follow them. Be who YOU are, your own leader, not a follower. I really don't care about being popular because I have friends who actually care about me, that's all that counts. Remember that. Popularity doesn't mean anything, it doesn't get you anywhere in high school or whatever you're in, just be who you are, you won't regret it.

Not at all.... I don't have to be popular to have good friends that are there for me. Besides, while I'm in school, all that really matters is how well I do, because in many years, when it really matters how well your job pays to take care of your family, it won't be as important on your record if you were Prom Queen, versus how well it looks if you have had good grades.

If you go for the popular bit, then you probably won't be true to
who you really are. You sometimes do have to give up the real you, and I for one believe in being true to myself. I have a great
many friends from all walks of life and we all love and respect
each other for who we are. I wish you that kind of friendship.

I do not care about being popular because I am 25 and in graduate school. The days about worrying about such trivial things are long gone! Hallelujah!

I don't care to be popular any longer. Popular people are always being confronted with people who want to use them for self gain. They only stay with you to be popular too. >:/

Baby-didn't I already tell you popularity doesn't matter in the long run. If that's all you care about you will lead a very shallow existence.
