First of all, do you really want him to be involved in this baby's life? Maybe you wouldn't want to tell him at all. Secondly, is he a Jerry Springer fan? If yes, run and hide girl, because he'd probably want DNA testing done to prove it's his. There are alternatives. Get councelling at a free clinic.

Open your mouth and form the words with your lips. Expel air from your lungs and your vocal cords will vibrate making an intelligible sound that says, "I'm having your baby."
Don't expect him to take responsibility for your child if you were stupid enough to have sexual relations outside of marriage.
Dumb!Dumb!Dumb!
My niece did the same thing and now I am raising her children. Don't get me wrong, I love them very much but I already raised a family and she is still screwing around. She does nothing to care for her children except show up once in a while to get a hug.
NOT FAIR! NOT FAIR! NOT FAIR! (To the kids that is)

It wont be easy and you have a long road ahead of you, so tell him soon so he can have more time to think about it and more time to prepare, you DO NOT want to go through this alone. And don't ever think you have to stay with him because of your baby. He has a commitment to this child's life but not to yours. Just go tell him as soon as you can. But try not to do it in public or get all emotional. You guys have a lot to think about now. Good luck.

It may be hard but tell him asap, the sooner the better. He is equally responsible for this child and must be given the chance to know about it. I know It is very stressful on you already,so concentrate on the baby no matter how he takes it. Get support for yourself from the proper channels such as your parents,an older sister, Birthright. Take care, ~A~

It depends on whether this is a planned pregnancy or not... if this is a planned one, a romantic atmosphere is needed like a resto or a hotel. Now. if this is an accident, a more serious place is needed, be sure that he's all ears, and nobody else is around, tell to him directly, boldly, frankly. be straightforward about this for this is a serious matter.

Next time you guys are out for a walk, start singing
"Selena and (insert his name) sitting in a tree
k i s s i n g... first comes love, than comes marriage, then
comes baby in the baby carriage.
Sucking his thumb, wetting his pants, doing the hula hula dance.
And then just see what his reaction is.
Geeze.... if nothing else, have fun with it.

Face to face. Tell him the truth in an honest and clear way. Don't get all emotional. It may take a while for it to set in with him. Men take longer to process it because the changes aren't happening to their body.
Congrats and good luck.

How old is he? Not that it matters because most guys freak about pregnancy at any age. He's not going to be happy. Maybe you could show him the pregnancy test. Whatever you decide to do, expect the worst and hope for the best.
