prom is a HUGE deal. it's something everyone talks about everywhere, and a time when some great memories are made. my skol is so small, the entire high school gets to go. i went last year as a freshie and it was so fun! it was fun to get dressed up, fun to see all my friends in clothes they would never wear otherwise, and just fun in general. the band they hired was awful, but it was fun to MAKE fun of them! everything was so awesome that night and i can't wait for this year's prom. people who say it's stupid don't get the true magic of prom night.

No they are not a great deal. the only people who think of of them as a results of fact the "ultimate time in extreme college" are the females who've dreamed of prom for years and get rather into it and bypass paying for for basically the main dazzling gown and basically the main dazzling shoes to.make it the appropriate night. From the form you defined your self i could say in case you have a date or a team of friends to bypass with you may in all threat have a reliable time yet I doubt it extremely is going to likely be a night you look decrease back on and say " ultimate night ever" lol. The after social gathering's are continuously greater helpful than the extremely adventure.

At the time I was so excited about my grad, making it a big deal, but now, after being graduated for 2 years, I wish I didn't spend as much on my dress and went solo and thought that it was really over rated!

I'd put it in between.

I don't think it's as a big of a deal as most high schoolers make it into, but it's not just a stupid tradition that should be gotten rid of.

It's good to go once just to say that you have. You don't need to spend loads on a limo and a dress though. It's just a big party to celebrate the end of highschool. Too bad there is no booze

while you're a teenager it's a stupid tradition. After 30 it is a big deal. At that age you will truly wish you would have attended

It is something all teens should experience once. Military Ball is becoming bigger than the prom at some of our area schools here though.

It is very traditional. It's not a huge deal or anything, but it can be very fun.

i definitely think of it as a convention of zombies of conformity, the only people that go to proms are the fake kids that have no taste of their own, they will buy a dress that they hate but others will like, they listen to music as long as it is a popular single. they say they like AFI but the only song they can mention is "missmurder", ill never go, it's the worst tradition ever.
