I don't know about the worms part, but I wouldn't eat it raw. I've never heard of someone only eating the noodles and uncooked too, but whatever. Umm, I really wouldn't recommend it though as for me it tastes weird or bad so I'd rather follow the directions and make the ramen instead of just eating the noodles....you'd waste perfectly "good" package of chicken/shrimp or vegatables in the bag that comes with it.

Even if there were worm eggs on the noodles, your stomach acids would digest them before they hatched. I think it is an urban legend. The ramen noodles are the best out of the bag. I've heard that they are dried and deep fried and that is why a bag of ramen is so many calories and why there is an oil layer in the soupy part.

definite. Ramen Noodles are basically noodles. they're fried in oil so as that they prepare dinner quickly. that's totally okay to consume them uncooked. I consistently munch on them whilst i'm waiting for the water to boil.

Well, that's just dumb. They don't give you worms. I crunch them up and put them in a totally yummy cole slaw recipe and it adds just the right amount of crunchiness.... Yum :)
