i have problems writing cd/dvd in my nero express 5.5?
can any one help me out here my windows xp has nero express 5.5 burning system n when i try to burn a cd it shows that it is burning it says burning successful but when i open to view its contents it is empty..
what could be wrong?

I think 5.5 is way out of date. Could even pre-date XP. Make sure it is up to date.
What I meant to say is that Nero frequently releases updates to its software, and you should make sure you contact Nero to verify that you have all the update releases.

it could be bad media. try buying some different cd's dvd's to rule that out.

I had the same problem...had to get the writer repaired..or maybe u are using old media...
