you check your trash folder if it's not there...u deleted the file permanently..thus, u can't retrieve it anymore...

check your trash folder.....if you deleted it then it should be there......then check your sent folder...this is where emails going out of your inbox go.....you won't have a copy of the reply but you'll have a copy of what you sent......unless it was deleted when you were sending a reply...then you have the email that you sent and the one that was sent back
if you never got a chance to reply then it should be in your trash folder

you may retrieve your deleted emails by utilising finding in the process the trash. i think of they only save messages for 30 days. in case you emptied the trash can icon then they are long previous continuously!!!!

Try in your trash folder, if it is not there it's probably gone. If you are working in mail client like outlook then there may be chances.
