It depends. Sometimes when I'm with friends I won't speak for long periods of time, then they ask me what’s wrong as if my silence is the result of some internal struggle. This is understandable and I appreciate their concern, but sometimes I just feel like listening to the conversation and keeping my opinions to myself. I might be guilty of doing this too often actually. At other times I feel the need to express every idea that comes to mind when conversing with others, but I don't feel uncomfortable when their is a break in the conversation, nor do I pester people when they have nothing to say. I suppose I would feel slightly uncomfortable if I was with a large group of people and the entire room suddenly fell silent, or I just met someone for the first time and unexpectedly ran out of things to say. Well looks like I'm talking too much, I think I'll pause.

No. I do it sometimes when I'm typing an answer. I know this one man who pauses consistently while he's trying to get his thoughts and words together and it's a struggle. I'll be sitting there sometimes with a "trying to be serious" look on my face while I'm biting my lip, then I get that funny feeling in my stomach and have to look away because if I don't, I'll bust out laughing. He blames it on me for looking so closely into his eyes and he said it flusters him. So no, I am not uncomfortable with pauses............in conversations.

Not at all. Pauses in conversation can be powerful as it gives the listener time to process what was just said, it also gives impact to something that was just said.
In casual conversation pauses are natural and don't bother me either.

Well it depends on who? did it happen with
what? was the reason it happened
when? did it happen in what kind of situation
where? did it happen what place in front of people or just one on one with some one
why? did it happen whats the reason
But overall i would say yes because that sometimes brings along awkwardness, embarrassment, strange feelings you know, and ofcourse causes uncomfortableness. so if you are yea sure everybody feels that way one way or another your not alone and it depends on the person.

conversations are best with well timed pauses I think. They give you time to reflect and enjoy the moment.

They're awkward on dates!! Thats why i dont like doing dinner dates until i know i guy better. Otherwise I just talk and ask questions to keep the convo going and never actually eat.

Depends...if it´s to make out NOP...if it´s to go to the bathroom NOP, if it´s to make out again NOP...jajaja.
You know, unconmfortable pauses come from uncomfortable conversations..let´s avoid both.
